Let’s start out with the fact that I have bought the Lyanden book, but I haven’t read it yet. It is sitting on my iPad at home, damn. With that out of the way, MBG Rob writes a pretty scathing review.

Did you buy the New “Iyanden” Codex Supplement?  I did, and I am not happy with it at all.

This whole 110 page book only contains 2 pages of must have rules for 40k (written by Mat Ward).

No one knows more about the Eldar than EldarCorsair. My HQ slot of choice? Spiritseer. Hands freaking down. Wraith buffs, interesting psychic powers, and dirt cheap. What more do you want?

Yeah this thing is actually pretty damn scary looking. Even if it is for square-basing, I might have to just get one to paint it up.

Merwyrms are most commonly found in the dangerous coastal waters of the Sea of Claws, and are bright silver-green and highly venomous. When food is scarce they have been known to assault coastal villages, devouring the inhabitants.

I also think the model would make a great mount or counts-as for 40k. I could definitely see a Nurgle lord or Orc riding on back.

To all the Blood Bowl players out there – GW doses love you! Well.. sort of. In video game form at least.

Cyanide’s take on Games Workshop’s inspired tabletop fantasy sports game is set to receive a sequel, as revealed by Blood Bowl’s vampire and ogre commentators in the first teaser trailer – or Jim and Bob as they’re known to their friends. The follow-up to the turn-based/real-time tactical sport has been in development for a year, and puts the pair’s ‘Cabalvision’ TV show front and centre.
