By Den of Imagination. Just beautiful work, and really does well with both the use of airbrush and fine brush. It’s a hard thing to master, that dichotomy, but he pulls if off well.

Pretty great Cosplay, but I think it needs to be said that it’s only a little ridiculous that the depiction of women in the 40k world is through Eldar / DE witches, the occasional special character, and through the Sisters of Battle.
For a game that claims to be “grim-dark” they certainly skip over aspects of love / sex pretty wholeheartedly. I mean when I first go into the hobby, at the age of 14, they told me the game was designed for twenty five plus. You would think people of that age could handle a little bit on the topic but apparently not.

Very inspiring work with the Ultramarines here. Done by MegaPope, view more pictures here.
On a side note- I have been listening to a lot of Black Library on audio-book lately and something just popped into my head and I can’t get rid of it. Space Marines of any chapter tend to use the word “brother” a lot.
While understandable, I somehow just keep picturing Buster Bluth.

It’s so good it doesn’t even look real.
I scratchbuilt this Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine Blood Angel Tactical Sergeant, 7th company, 9th squad, costume as a fan. Improved version.
About 400 hours in making, spread over 10 months. The current weight is 25 kg.
Hight: About 215 cm/7′ (I am about 183 cm/6′ without armor). (To be able to move around easier and be able to use my own hands, the size is a compromize between proper SM size and a normal human.)
Method: Pepakura (foam+hot glue) and some modifications to make it look more like the miniatures. And some aluminum rods, and screws and electronics.
Cost of materials: At the present about 2500€.
Eyes built from modified Glospex:http://www.goglospex.com/standard/
Motion sounds comes from a Mega Stopm Panik from:http://www.thinkgeek.com
Getting dressed takes about 15 minutes, and requires a servitor.
No comissions.
