It’s almost evil how good a painter Studio Giraldez has become. Evil in that when I see models like this- I know I have no hope of replication.

Still an amazing paint-job of a very solid Chaksas sculpt. A model, I believe, that has yet to be released.

Forces – most models, apart from TAGs (the big Dreadnought-sized walkers).

We’re getting up toward the ‘full’ level of the game now, adding in the electronic warfare element, camo models with their need to be discovered, ‘first strike’ abilities and weapons that can hit without needing to see the target.

Hackers add in a degree of electronic warfare with their ability to make short-ranged debilitating attacks against Remotes (robots), TAGs and powered armour Heavy Infantry. If the only approach to your models passes the other side of a wall from a Hacker then high-tech models are likely to be in trouble…

Hacking can only take place within the Hacker’s 8″ Zone of Control but several factions can lay out a network of ‘Repeaters’ which extend the Hacker’s battlefield coverage.

More Cosplay. Even if cosplay is just a word for grownups playing dress-up.. I don’t care. It’s awesome. Just think about the amount of work that had to go into this costume.

Spotted at Plastic Krak – they titled their post Mind Blown and I think I have to agree.

I have been re-working traditional phrases, turning them on their ear. “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” I don’t like that one “Two birds in the bush are worth more than one in the hand because otherwise you wouldn’t have invented your netgun and caught ten birds.” Clunky but you get the idea. Use your creativity to get what you want. If you are satisfied with what you have, new and better possibilities are sometimes shut down.
