Though he hasn’t been the most active recently, OrcNerdPainter has to be one of my favorite Youtube painters. In this months episode he unboxes and assembles a Dark Potential set, as someone who has been following the recent drama over at MiniWarGaming pretty closely, I have to say I was excited to come across it.

The models look great. Flat out great.

So Matt sits down and clarifies a few things on the business side. Guys, MiniWarGaming is here to stay so we can all take a deep breath. Basically they just don’t sell anything anymore and a few employees lost their jobs because the store went MIA. As someone who has lost a job due to policy change affecting business (damn you Google) I can tell you it sucks to be in that position. To realize you lost your job so that the market share of another company will go up .0001% is just about the worst feeling, but at least MWG will still be around.

Games Workshop is selling their licencing to anyone who will pony up the cash. Roadhouse Interactive will now be able to make tablet and smartphone games.

What has Roadhouse Interactive made in the past? MechWarrior Tactics. Now I havn’t played it, but I have to say it looks pretty fun. I loved Mech Warrior growing up, and I can’t argue with a free-to-play turn based Mech game. Little known fact- Mech Warrior started as a table-board game. Paaazzaa

Before you get too excited, the game to come out will not be a turn based game. Instead just a single Marine, blasting Orcs to oblivion.
