Those mid-tones.. wow.

Sometimes I finish a model, just today actually, and I sit and think to myself “hey, that’s not half bad. In fact, you might actually be a good painter!! (Freaking finally)” But then I go on Youtube and see something like this, something so detailed and full and colorful.. well damn. Rogland. Teach me your ways!

Do you remember the first model you ever painted? I do, it was 3rd edition 40k, I painted one Chaos Space Marine with chrome silver oil paint my mom had around and highlighted it with a red blade and a green base. It was awful. Sorry young me, it really was. I was 9 though, so you shouldn’t count it against me…

… Or maybe you should. This model was painted by DakkaDakka’er Dodeth’s god daughter.

She is 12.

Let me just ask you this, how did your first model turn out? Bet it wasn’t this good.

ZOMG, this exists. I have not yet beaten Bioshock Infinate, so DON”T give it away.. but I have to say it’s one of the best games I have played in a while. I am a huge RPG fan, even more so when game-makers set out to tell a story.

This game however, is still a few months out, but look at all the goodies it comes with…
